Barnums Fall In Scrimmage To Danbury Westerners

The Bridgeport Barnums fell to the Danbury Westerners of the New England Collegiate Baseball League 10-0 in a scrimmage on Saturday afternoon at Seaside Park in Bridgeport. 

The Westerners picked up three runs in the second, one in the fourth, three in the fifth and three in the sixth. 

The Barnums managed just two hits 

On the positive side for the Barnum, Andrew Fortunato threw a perfect seventh inning on just 10 pitches 

Bridgeport will be back in action with a regular season game on Sunday at 12pm vs Waterbury.
