Barnums Fall for First Time in 2025
The Bridgeport Barnums dropped their first game on the season as the fell to West Haven 9-3 on Saturday at Seaside Park in Bridgeport.
The Barnums got off to a strong start, going up 3-0 after four innings, before giving up nine unanswered runs.
Meyer Stransky led the Barnums offense with two hits and a run batted in.
The Barnums first run in the third inning came on a bases-loaded walk by Jose Vasquez.
The fourth inning runs came on RBI singles from Stansky and Bryan Vazquez.
Bridgeport is back in action on Sunday against Glastonbury at Riverfront Stadium at 5pm.
